Kyrie Irving 6
The front foot of the Kyrie 6 continues the Air Zoom Turbo cushion that is available in Kyrie 5. The height of the last was reduced by 5mm and the shoes were more flat, allowing Kyrie Irving to race faster. The middle part of the shoe was fitted with a devil's felt adhesive strap at Kyrie Iving's request to provide support and locking.
Kyrie 6 incorporates the heel support structure of All Seeing Eye and Healer's Hand. With a 360-degree grip system, not only does the outsole of the forefoot extend upward to the sides, but there are also cone-shaped bodies in the toe's thumb area, providing anti-slip effects when the foot tilts so far that the cheap basketball shoes touches the ground.
Kyrie 6's technology upgrades will help Irving perform better on the court, subtly helping him showcase his basketball skills, and in response to that style of play, he's also demanding that his sneakers provide the most reliable support when he turns into a breakout player.
The Kyrie 6 features are demonstrated through a foot feel close to the ground and a 360-degree grip system that has been updated over the past few years with adjustments and tests by Nethongkome. The result was, in Irving's own words, "the Kyrie 6 was the most comfortable pair of basketball shoes he had ever worn."
